समाज बदल्न भाषण होइन, उदाहरण चाहिन्छ: राजनीति र शिक्षामा रूपान्तरणको खोजी

आजको आधुनिक युगमा हामी सूचनाको महासागरमा छौँ। बिहान उठ्नेबित्तिकै सामाजिक सञ्जालका भित्तादेखि पत्रपत्रिकाका पानासम्म एउटै कुराले भरिएका हुन्छन्— “परिवर्तन”। हामी सबैलाई परिवर्तन चाहिएको छ। हामीलाई उन्नत समाज, सुशासित देश र समृद्ध भविष्य चाहिएको छ। तर, बिडम्बना के छ भने नेपालको वर्तमान परिवेशमा परिवर्तन केवल शब्दमा सीमित छ, व्यवहारमा होइन। हामीसँग ‘भन्ने’ मान्छेहरूको भीड छ, तर ‘गर्ने’ मान्छेहरूको अनिकाल छ।

समाजको चरित्र बदल्ने र बिगार्ने दुईवटा मुख्य मेरुदण्ड हुन्: राजनीति र शिक्षा। आज यी दुवै क्षेत्र केवल भाषणका केन्द्र बनेका छन्। तर यथार्थ यो हो कि समाज बदल्न अब मञ्चमा उभिइने भाषण होइन, मैदानमा देखिने उदाहरण चाहिन्छ।

१. राजनीति: सत्ताको होड कि सेवाको नमुना?

राजनीति भनेको कुनै पनि देशको मष्तिस्क हो। मष्तिस्क जस्तो चल्छ, शरीरले त्यस्तै प्रतिक्रिया दिन्छ। नेपालको सन्दर्भमा राजनीति ‘नीतिहरूको राजा’ हुनुपर्नेमा ‘स्वार्थको खेल’ बनेको छ।

हाम्रा राजनीतिक दलहरूका घोषणापत्र हेर्ने हो भने त्यहाँ स्वर्गको नक्सा कोरिएको हुन्छ। भ्रष्टाचारको विरोधमा चर्का भाषण सुनिन्छन्, तर व्यवहारमा भ्रष्टाचार एउटा संस्कृतिको रूपमा जरा गाडेर बसेको छ। यहाँ समस्या सिद्धान्तको होइन, नियतको हो।

  • भाषणको भ्रम: जब एउटा नेताले मञ्चबाट “सुशासन” को कुरा गर्छ तर आफ्नै वरिपरि विचौलियाहरू राख्छ, तब जनतामा व्यवस्थाप्रति नै वितृष्णा जाग्छ।
  • उदाहरणको शक्ति: समाजलाई भाषण होइन, यस्तो नेता चाहिएको छ जसले आफ्नो सम्पत्ति विवरण पारदर्शी राखोस्, जो सामान्य सरकारी अस्पतालमा उपचार गराओस् र जसले कानुन सबैका लागि बराबर हो भनेर आफ्नै कार्यकर्तालाई कारबाही गर्ने हिम्मत राखोस्।

जबसम्म राजनीतिमा ‘पात्र’ बदलिँदैनन् र पात्रले आफ्नो ‘प्रवृत्ति’ बदल्दैनन्, तबसम्म जतिसुकै ठूलो क्रान्ति भए पनि समाजको जग बदलिने छैन। राजनीतिमा लागेका युवाहरूले अब पुराना नेताको भाषण शैली होइन, उनीहरूको गल्तीबाट सिकेर नयाँ कार्यशैलीको उदाहरण बन्नु अनिवार्य छ।

२. शिक्षा: सर्टिफिकेटको व्यापार कि चरित्रको निर्माण?

यदि राजनीति देशको मष्तिस्क हो भने शिक्षा देशको मेरुदण्ड हो। तर, आजको शिक्षा प्रणालीले मानिसलाई ‘कामदार’ त बनाइरहेको छ, तर ‘नागरिक’ बनाउन चुकिरहेको छ।

हामी विद्यालयमा “सत्य बोल्नुपर्छ”, “देशको सेवा गर्नुपर्छ” र “परिश्रम नै सफलताको कडी हो” भनेर पढाउँछौँ। तर, त्यही विद्यार्थीले समाजमा देख्छ कि— झूट बोल्नेहरू सफल छन्, देश छोड्नेहरू सुखी छन् र चाकडी गर्नेहरू शक्तिमा छन्। यहाँ शिक्षा र समाजको व्यवहारबीच एउटा गहिरो खाडल छ।

  • शिक्षण होइन, प्रदर्शन: शिक्षकले विद्यार्थीलाई अनुशासनको भाषण दिएर मात्र पुग्दैन, शिक्षक आफैँ समयको पाबन्द र अध्ययनशील हुनुपर्छ।
  • मूल्य मान्यताको खडेरी: शिक्षाको उद्देश्य केवल जागिर खानु मात्र हुनु हुँदैन। शिक्षाले एउटा यस्तो उदाहरण पेस गर्नुपर्छ जहाँ पढेको मान्छेले फोहोर फाल्न लाज मान्छ, नियम पालना गर्न गर्व गर्छ र श्रमलाई सम्मान गर्छ।

आजको आवश्यकता यस्तो शिक्षाको हो जसले विद्यार्थीको हातमा सर्टिफिकेट मात्र होइन, शिरमा नैतिकता र हृदयमा मानवता पनि हालिदेओस्। र यो परिवर्तन पाठ्यपुस्तक बदलेर मात्र सम्भव छैन, यो त शिक्षक र अभिभावकले आफ्नै व्यवहारबाट ‘उदाहरण’ बनेर देखाउनुपर्ने विषय हो।

३. किन चाहिन्छ त उदाहरण?

मानव मनोविज्ञानले सधैँ ‘दृश्य’ लाई विश्वास गर्छ। एउटा बच्चाले आफ्नो बुबाले दिएको उपदेशभन्दा बुबाले गरेको कामलाई बढी पछ्याउँछ। समाजको हकमा पनि यही लागू हुन्छ।

  • प्रेरणाको स्रोत: भाषणले मानिसलाई केही समयका लागि उत्तेजित बनाउन सक्छ, तर उदाहरणले उसलाई जीवनभरका लागि प्रेरित गर्छ।
  • विश्वसनीयताको आधार: जब बोलेको र गरेको कुरा मिल्छ, तब मात्र नेतृत्वप्रति विश्वास पैदा हुन्छ। आज नेपालमा नेता, शिक्षक वा बौद्धिक वर्गप्रति जुन अविश्वास छ, त्यसको मुख्य कारण उनीहरूको बोली र गराईबीचको द्वैध चरित्र नै हो।

४. निष्कर्ष: अबको बाटो

समाज बदल्ने जिम्मेवारी कसैको ठेक्का होइन। यो हामी प्रत्येकको व्यक्तिगत दायित्व हो। यदि हामीलाई राजनीति फोहोर लागेको छ भने, सफा राजनीति गर्ने उदाहरण हामी आफैँ किन नबन्ने? यदि हामीलाई शिक्षा प्रणाली कमजोर लागेको छ भने, आफ्ना छोराछोरीलाई संस्कार सिकाउने पहिलो विद्यालय घरलाई किन नबनाउने?

नेपालको माटोले अब कण्ठ गरिएका भाषणहरू सुन्न चाहँदैन। यो माटोले त अब काम गर्ने हातहरू र इमानदार पाइलाहरू खोजिरहेको छ।

अन्त्यमा, तपाईंको एउटा सानो सकारात्मक काम हजारौँ शब्दका भाषणभन्दा शक्तिशाली हुन्छ। त्यसैले, समाज बदल्न अरूलाई औँला ठड्याउनु भन्दा पहिले आफैँ एउटा सानो ‘उदाहरण’ बनौँ। परिवर्तन टाढा छैन, परिवर्तन हामीभित्रै छ।
